Questions on gobies...

So this past weekend my gold head sleeper goby died. That is the second I've had. Both gobies seemed to last about 4-6 months in my tank, looking healthy as can be and then they just die out of nowhere. Is that a normal lifespan for them in aquariums out of curiosity?

I hope not mine is still going strong.  I hopefully he'll last a good long time. Has yours been getting enough food of the right type?

Yeah, mine was eating perfectly fine doing what he does and then just died.

the key to the question is food of the right type.

I can eat popcorn like a pig and still die prematurely, albeit happy!!  :)

Not sure what those guys eat, but its just a thought.

I've been feeding PE mysis. I also feed the spectrum pellets but the goby doesn't eat that.
