toothbrush question

So I lost my tank toothbrush. I was wondering if I could use a old one of mine that I used to brush my teeth with, if I give it a vinegar bath will it be okay?

It was more of a I don't have a ride anywhere can I use a old one. lol

yeah Tobey Id say vinegar bath , I mean hot water will do the trick never seen a toothpaste with holding power. boil some water if your scared and stick it in there it will clean anything off.

Just out of curiosity.......what exactly do you use the tooth brush for in your tank?

I find it to be a very useful tool for reefkeeping.  Of course, outside the tank, I use it to clean equipment.  Inside the tank I use it to scrub algae off rocks or away from frags etc.

i find that using the brush after cleaning the tank leaves a nice pleasant film on my teeth that prevents tartar build up...just an fyi.

are you that hard pressed to clean your tank that you cant wait for a ride to get a toothbrush? lol...must be one dirty tank.

but really you should be fine either boiling water and cleaning a used brush or a vinegar bath.
