Clown Ident
« on: October 17, 2009, 10:30:45 AM »
I was having a conversation with Hoss last night about my clowns being different species, after staring at the them for an hour this morning the only difference I can tell is the new one has a thicker black out line.  I tried to get a good shot of the 2 of them together and was unsuccessful  so i took a little vid clip to see what you all think.
What it is Jive turkey!

Okay Chris based on your video here is what I believe and hopefully someone can confirm it or confirm Im wrong haha.
At the 8 second point  of the video you can see the clown in the back having a more pronounced bump pointing to the front of the fish....this lends me to call it a percula....where as the other one has more of a solid white with less than a hump pointing forward..... this making it a ocillaris......
They are both quite young it would appear and on the small side and the percula would deff begin to show signs of the black bands getting thicker and seeing less and less of the orange.....

What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss
