yes I will!  Well, the whole reason I made the stand so tall is because I am tall.  On my 55, I am always bending over to look into it, but now with a taller stand, I wont have to bend over to look into the 90.  I also made it short enough so I can stick my hand in and get to the bottom.

1st coat of polyurethane is done!  on thurs night coat #2 is goes on then I will be done.  I may end up going to the lfs and buying a brand new tank right after new years.

So, I decided that I am more than likely going to be building a canopy for my tank and instead of waiting until march to start it up, first thing in January I will buy a tank and start preparations!

Here is a shot of a 90g on my completed stand.




I never showed any pics of my entire set-up that I have now, so here are a few pics.

This is my 20g sump and my 40g plant tank with a 5.5" DSB.  Both of these tanks are connected to my 55 which will soon be my 90.

 That is one heck of a fuge/planted tank man....Good job!

I ordered the 90g a few hours ago.  So far, this year has had a great beginning!! :D


The tank should arrive sometime Tuesday and I will hopefully have a lot of the plumbing and whatnot ready to be put on.  I decided to use flexible tubing instead of pvc pipe simply because if I use pvc pipe, there are going to be a lot of 90 and 45 degree bends which inhibits the gph.

All I know is I am super pumped for this all to happen!

I ordered a bunch of stuff from DFS, so it should be here by friday which means I am getting the tank up and running this weekend!!

The tank came today!



So, I drilled it:



And put it on the stand and also put the soon to be canopy on top as well!








The stuff I ordered is supposed to be here on Friday and Ill do the swap on Sunday.
