My clowns may spawn soon
« on: October 06, 2009, 12:32:25 PM »
I went in to check on my tank today and frantically started looking for my smaller ocillaris and after checking the floor and overflow I found him back up behind one of the islands on a rock just laying there. I was worried he was sick or injured so I stuck a scraper near him and he swam off....I imagine this is a sign of him holding his space down.
Am I correct?
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

Umm my clowns have never just sat there unless in its nem. They should start cleaning off a piece of rock or glass if getting ready. They will also start defending their spot more viciously. Sounds ill to me. I'd watch him closely.

well when I got the scraper close to him he swam off and has been swimming and eating just fine, no damage or any signs of distress. I will keep an eye on him but the rock he was on does kinda fit the profile for eggs, flat semi hidden, not a territory where the other fish go.
