My New Vacation Town
« on: July 28, 2009, 10:02:02 AM »
me and the wife have decided we are a little fed up with travelling around with the camper, so we have decided to pitch our camper for the whole of next year on a site right by the seaside.

we went to weston super mare today which is a nice little town near where our camper will be pitched, i took a couple of photos, the oceanarium wouldnt allow flash photography so i strugged im afraid, anyhow i got a couple.

weston has recently lost its victorian pier due to fire, and its currently being re-built, next year it should be finished hopefully.

Looks like a fun place filled with plenty to do ! Im sure you all will enjoy it there.
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

Very nice town Michael, I would like to spend a little time there myself. Leaving the trailer there will be like having a condo at the beach.

Nice looking place, and having your trailer set up right on the ocean would be fantastic!! Now all you need is a boat.
So is it a campground or did you guys lease a lot?

im sure its cleaned up regually mel, anyhow a pony's poo and a donkey's poo is probably similar lol, as for dogs on beeches, i cant understand why not if the owner is a responsible persona who clears up the mess, have you got beeches in canada then :)

its a camp ground chris, a holiday camp actually, not quiet like your used to either, its 20 meters from the beach and has 2 pubs, a large kids fun barn with arcades and 2 take away (take out) restaurants as well, it has a supermarket on site and a camper sales and service shop as well, not overly commercial but has everything for our needs, oh- and a cider farm 2 miles away haha
