h--mmm tank disaster, never mess with a nice tank
« on: May 06, 2009, 11:22:47 AM »
well since my complete impulse decision to completely change around my reef ive had problems, basically the top right sinu has not come back out, its a shadow of its former self, the toadie has decreased in size where i had to cut it off a rock the stalk was stuck to, and since the water went cloudy about 3 days ago the sun coral has started to die, what a complete disaster, ive now managed to clear the cloudiness and the water is crystal clear, the corals are starting to open again but its damage done now and i feel its time to re-build.

params today are now pretty cool, mag is 1350, calcium 410, alk 7.7, ph is 8.2, sg is 1.026, and temperature is 26.7 degrees c

heres a few pics, i just hope to get back to where it was before i messed about with it

changes sometimes arent the best. Glad you got a handle on it though. Hope everything else works out for the best in the end as well. :-[
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

Still looks nice in the photos. A wise person once said that this too shall pass. Given time it will be as nice as you could wish it to be.

Sorry to hear about this, Michael. :(  I am glad you got everything in check, though.  It really doesn't look that bad in the photos, just like the others said.
