My 200g Baby finally got it set up
« on: March 28, 2010, 08:36:15 AM »
Ok as alot of you know i have been away for a awhile serving over in Iraq.
When i got home it was take care of the wife and family then no holds bar on my tank.
Tryed to keep the pictures updated throughout the process so here it ges with pics.
This is a custom leemar tank so normal does not fit.

Here are the lights after i put them in. 72" lights 69" cabinet..

There are no pictures of me installing the sump but i had to cut out the end of the cabinet to get it in.

Then it was off to JT's (thanks JT) had an acrylic tank i used to section off part of my tank for a fuge. here is a drawing and picture.
I didnt want fish to go behind the wall and hide permanently so i sectioned it off and putting sand and cheato back there.
(Daughter took pictures with my point and shoot, no she cant use my nice cameras)

Now it was time to finish putting in water..Marlon came with water and helped fill the tank.
Marlon your the best I cant say enough on how cool you are and how much respect you earned at my house your always welcome here.

200 g later!!

Now sit back and look at the tank and work on things to quit the pump...and let it warm up...

That tank looks awesome, man!  Glad you made it back safely, too.

Just out of curiosity, how high are those T5's from the water?

The t5 are about 10 inches off the top of the water.
We also have more rock cycling in another tank.

Full of stock and running

Looks great man!.... fuge area is very cool, utilizing the tank light and keeping it up in the display yet unseen is a nice touch. We are all of course going to want to know flow, bulbs used, how long its been running, stock list, you know the drill haha....we are an inquisitive bunch ya know.
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

That's a very nice looking tank!  Are you overdriving the bulbs, because that seems a little high off the water... however, the pics really show that there's a LOT of light getting in there so it may just work perfectly.

Would love a shot of the sump when you're done.  I'm fiendin' to build a new one. :)
