I went to the SE-CFM Sunday and it was great. A number of great vendors were there and I was able to get 4 frags for less than any one of them would have retailed for.

Nice favia

Unknown Acropora, it's supposed to end up a rich popping purple

Pokerstar Montipora

and a really neat Platygyra

These aren't new corals, but I wanted to post a few more shots
my Oregon, still growing

The Skitzo Blastos, these goofy guys are so extended that the skirts are folding over in the current

I had a fragging mishap with my Purple Slimer, I was cutting a small frag and this broke off too

Hawaiian Ding Dangs

I found this little frag busted off my JC Quadricolor Acropora, I think a big Mexi-turbo snail did it  >:(

I don't have any issues with its color, but then I have very good luck with my SPS's in general. I get really good color out of most all of them.

A little update. The corals are doing great, so it's time to move!  *frustrated* *frustrated* *frustrated*

We are relocating about 3 1/2 miles down the road, just so I can stress the tank out again! In about another year and a half we ought to be free and clear and will start looking to buy so this nonsense can come to an end.

Anyway, here are a few growth shots.

not too bad for a terribly slow grower, if I may say so 8)

Just 38 hours til the big tank move. We are moving into a different house, just about 3.7 miles away. Our LLandlord decided to sell the house we're in. So far I have 4 confirmed Reefkeeping helpers, about a million totes and buckets, two trucks a new bag of salt, a brand new 10 inch fine mesh fish net and fresh sand lined up. I'm going over to the new house to pick up the keys tomorrow after work, and I'll turn the air on and hook up my RO/DI to make plenty of makeup water. I hope I've thought of everything, but I am sure I will run into a few issues. That's just the nature of the beast.

Wish me luck, pics will follow!

take your time, get air stones, other than that sounds like you got it all set man.

I didn't think about airstones, but I do have 2 plug in air pumps and 3 D Cell ones I can use. Thanks for the tip.

The move itself went very well. I cracked my fuge and had to run a few days with the water a few inches low, idling a Koralia with the heater in the display but everything is operational now. The problem is that I have been hit with widespread RTN.

This is getting very upsetting. So far I have lost my Acropora desalwii colony, my Neon Flashlight Acropora chesterfieldensis colony, my Frog In a Blender Seriatopora hysterix birdsnest colony, about half of my Hyacinth Seriatopora hysterix birdsnest colony, over half of my Acropora valida Tri-Color colony, my ORA Bellina frag, a hunk of my Montipora confusa, my frag of Quadricolor Acropora and a big part of my Chips Acro and part of my ORA green birdsnest. It's hitting my Rose Millepora too as well as the ORA Blue millepora. The parameters are all good, I cannot figure it out at all. I did a big water change but the RTN continues.  Hopefully some of the frags I cut of some of the things will ride it out and I can always grow them out again.

I guess this would be what they call a crash, but I am still holding onto the faith. Let's see what corals really are hardy!

I will get some pics soon...I just really want to cut out some more of the death first. There are still whole dead colonies in there. I just cannot bring myself to taking pics like that.... :(

Mitch, I know its tough to take and especially post pics of when catastrophes happen but I for one have learned a lot from posting such pics and getting some well needed encouragement from them as well.

yup, now I'm actually being lazy. I need to clean the glass, and then I will get some great shots. I really like the new white sandbed. It's not as natural looking as what I had, but it looks sooooo clean.
