Need a storage tank...lol
« on: February 02, 2010, 08:55:00 AM »
I'm now a distributor. Was thinking of hooking one of these up to the 29g in the living room...lol Wonder how long 500gals would last.  *ROFL*

These go on my spot free water systems at my detail shops. Wish I had a tank that was big enough to need one of these babies.  ;D

haha!  I'd imagine quite awhile!

I know you'd sell a lot of those in Houston!  Guys stick them outside, next to their AC units, and use them for all sorts of things.

Mike, I understand... I sell pumps like what are used in public aquariums... I would love a tank large enough to need one of my pumps.

whats the size ranges?
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

Not sure if the tanks cross over to our hobby. Don't know what type material they're made of. Guess I could find out.
I'm just feeling like a little kid with a new toy.  ;D
Got 6 of these RO units in today!!!!!  *cheer*  They also have carbon tanks that are about 4' tall.
Guess it's time to stop playing with my new toys and get to selling some...lol

dude... whats the brand on that pump?  It looks like one of the Goulds pumps I sell.  Does it run on a variable speed system or simply on/off?

I'll check that out Monday. It does run with a on/off sw and a float sw in the tank.
Spent the day reviewing the instructions...lol. For the most part it's plug and play.

That one is a F&W Frank & Williams. The old units I'm replacing look identical but they say Dayton. What do you think...good, bad?

good or bad doesn't matter... they are cheap!

Dayton is often sold through Grainger.  They are ok, but definitely not industrial duty.  OEMs love them as the price is right.

Can't remember how much for just the tanks, but I could find out. For a small price of $7,000.00 you can have all the spot free water you'd ever need to wash your car. lol
