Thanks for adding those Leo, wasnt able to do any photo uploading at work.

Yup these are 250 watters, ReefLux 20Ks. I think 150w will be pretty good for a 16" height tank.
Here are some top downs of the tank (I need to build a photo box). The tank is still young, so most of the stuff in there are just frags.

awesome, that all looks great!
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

Thanks for the compliments guys.
It's a Idaho Grape cap that I had too low so it browned out, had to mount it at the top, and is starting to color back up.

Lookin' good, Chris!  I need one of them camera boxes too... I have the acrylic; just need to build it on one of those productive days. LOL!

Chris' tank is one of the better BB tanks I've seen in the area.  He's got coralline all over the place and that really adds to the BB appeal, IMO.

I ordered the pendants today, I went with the 250s instead of the 150s (only $40 more for the pair) got them with 15k XMs , looking forward to getting them hung. I will get pics as soon as I get them all added.

Okay the lights finally came in....my next question is probably very easy to answer but I wanted everyone elses thoughts.
My current fixture is a 150 HQI w 4x39 T5s....its roughly 12" off the top of the water....how high do you suggest I run these 250s to start with? 18"? 24"? I will probably lower them slowly to end up about 12-15 off the top and the frags I have will be hard mounted this time so moving them wont be possible.

Okay here is my breakdown of the product.
Ordering from HelloLights- 95% satisfied.
Dealing with Aqua-Medic over where my order was- 75% satisfied, they seemed to NOT know where it was a couple times.
(this was due to HelloLights not having them in stock or else I would have been 100% satisfied with HL)

Product materials- great for the price, not the highest quality manufactured parts but they do the job. They have evidently fixed the holders for the 250 watters as they were very easy to install the bulbs in, this was an issue with older units. The ceiling mounts were satisfactory sort of.....they were sheetrock mollies which Im not keen on but seem to hold the lights good enough.
The ballasts seem huge, I dont have anything to compare them to but they are about 8" cubes. The ballasts are extremely quiet, run cold and have padded feet to keep any vibration noise out.
All in all Im thrilled to death with these lights. Time will tell if they are there for the long haul but so far so good.
Now as far as the bulbs I got with them via HelloLights, the XM 15Ks are so nice I may never try another bulb. Growth will be closely watched and I imagine it will be quite good.
9/10
