I didnt see this thread posted ...sorry.... looks to me it could very well be a bonzai.... if its purple and has green polyps id say purple bonsai... normally seen with stalks but when its fragged it can plate out and have numerous nubby stalks.
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss

Would you call that a confirmation? How does the coral look now?

Looks like this. The color is has faded since I had the lights off for a few days a while back.

looks like a good call hoss. ive seen a purple bonsai do nothing but encrust almost completely on a rock before it decided to shoot up stalks. looks good. may trade for a piece of that.
as cool as aquarium nerds can get.

Probably won't like it now lol. The purple has faded drastically and no more green tips either. The underside has a little bleaching as well.

Mine did that because I had the lights off for a couple days when trying to get rid of algae. I guess its still ****ed at me.

Let it settle. Time heals bleached corals. I had a purple edged green cap that was as white as the driven snow, and a year or so later it looks AMAZING....(in a friend's tank :o)
